Walton Worlds has developed a new product. Madison Wisconsin has been asked to offer free samples and pitch it to everyone. The product itself makes the person extremely hyper for a while, then causes a significant crash. The crash is best solved by having more of the product.

Avi Levinstein will have to come up with a way to cure the addictive and overpowering effects if the Ship's crew is to be able to function as well as usual.
