You're a registered nurse working for Dr. Avi Levinstein. Things would sure be a lot easier if Dr. Levinstein wasn't so old. Dr. Levinstein doesn't understand a thing about how modern medical technology works. All that means is that you end up doing the real work, while Dr. Levinstein gets all the praise for patching folks up (not to mention a lot better pay).

All in all, this is a pretty soft job though. It isn't like the Petunia gets into any battles or anything. No people get shot, no explosions, no real danger. Mostly you use the Medicator to treat people for hangovers, food poisoning or the occasional cold. Of course, Dr. Levinstein always wants to talk to the people, instead of just moving them through and getting what ails them taken care of.

Despite your differences in opinion, you're very careful to do thing Dr. Levinstein's way. Getting a good recommendation from Dr. Levinstein would be sure to set you up very nicely after your stint aboard the Petunia is over. No matter how clumsy, slow or old Dr. Levinstein is, no matter how many times you have to hear about how things were done 'back in the day', no matter what Dr. Levinstein gets wrong, you're careful to smile and agree.

One of the passengers on board this trip, Elian Bumblemus sure caught your eye. You felt your heart go pitter-pat just looking at Elian. You caught Elian staring at you as well. You sure hope that the attraction is mutual. You'd love to get to the chance to speak with Elian during the trip and find out.

You happen to have found out that Sir Joseph Butler, the General of the Starship Fleet has taken Dorcas Peterson, the Navigation Officer, as his secret lover. That she's getting married to Don Don, who is a passenger right now, after this trip is over hasn't seemed to stop them. You've also found out that General Butler takes Elixus, a drug that gives a little... lift... in bed. You bet he doesn't want that found out anymore than he wants his relationship with an engaged woman found out.

As a nurse, you find it valuable to know what is going on with everyone on board the ship. Some might call you nosy, but they just don't understand how important it is for your position. Emerald LaGas, Head of Food Services, often finds out what the latest is on board the ship. Peyton Nottingham, a security officer, is also often interested in finding out information and occasionally shares some.

You also stumbled across something that could be a major career breakthrough for you. That is, if you can figure this out without Dr. Levinstein taking the credit. During the trip before this one, some passenger brought a really nasty cold on board the ship. Everyone got it and was sick for awhile. Everyone except Jesus. Per Captain's orders, you got a blood sample from everyone to analyze and deal with the cold. Jesus had some very strange results when the Medicator analyzed his blood. Jesus was certainly immune to the cold though, and whatever his body is producing might well be the cure to the common cold, and maybe more!

Unfortunately, the sample you had wasn't enough to complete a whole battery of tests you need to do to figure this out. Since Dr. Levinstein isn't comfortable working with the Medicator, Avi hasn't a clue about what you've stumbled across. Now, you just need to find some way to get another sample or two from Jesus and complete a battery of tests to have your career made.

This is a minor character. While you will have ample opportunity to play this character, we will be asking you to play other short roles at particular junctures during the game.
