Background
This is a strange place. It's very solid. You forget that sometimes. You're used to things being more flexible.
You are a Shoggoth. You came here from places that none of these humans could understand. You were weak there, a tool, a servant. Here, you have a sweet little man pet and a small group of followers that serve you. You can do things that they have never seen before, and they worship you for it. It's nice being worshiped. And they feed you. War zones are good for that: no one notices when people go missing.
You crawled out of a gap in time on to the shore of this world when someone blew up an ancient relic. You don't know what it was, but it was tasty. Then you found a dying woman on the beach. She was also delicious. You took her memories and her form. She was from Turkey. What that meant was a little fuzzy, but it gave you something to work with. Her name was Emel. Having a name is good. People like things with names. You watched the responses people gave to you and adapted your form and your behavior to fit.
You found men with power. You like power. It's useful. You swayed them to help you. At a dinner, you met Munir. He was infatuated with you, and you thought this was useful. He worshiped you and his worship pleased you so much that you stayed with him. He wanted to bind you with a marriage contract, but these bindings are weak, not like the oaths you once knew. You accepted. You may have to eat him some day, but your man-pet is quite useful to you for now.
You told him what you are. He thinks of you as a goddess, and this is good. He likes giving you things such as pretty baubles of ancient eldritch power, virgins, and holy sites -- the typical appeasements. He has helped you to gain followers. Your powers are weaker than they could be, but they can still stun these humans. Your followers do rituals for you and bring you blood. Blood is easy to come by here, but you prefer yours still living. Virgins are good. The body you took first was a virgin and you have a fondness for them.
Today there is a meeting of humans to discuss politics. You mostly wanted to come because you wanted to get ahold of a particular site of power in Kirkuk. Gods died there and left great power that you can use. There is also oil there from the bodies of the dead gods, and people want to mine it. You know of another oil site that might substitute. You must have Kirkuk.
There are also people here that have the stink of the Great Old Ones on them. You don't want anything more powerful than you running around this country. There is already something dangerous here. It's probably their fault.
Contacts
Abd Al Aziz Mamoon: This man has the stink of the Great Old Ones upon him. They must not be allowed to take over this world, too.
Qamar Abd Al: A particularly tasty smelling morsel. Not only is she a virgin, but she has untested power. Yum!
Rodney Greiner: He has artifacts of power. You want them. That probably means he wants yours, too.
David Kinder: He has the taint of Great Old Ones upon him as well. He is a bringer of chaos, a follower of the Unspeakable.
Basit Ibn Karim: The leader of the religious rulers here. You have pledged the help of your cultists to him, mostly to watch what he does. He sees this as coming from his own cultists, which works well.
Munir Faiz: Your man-pet. He is very useful, and does many things for you.
Nawal: She has been touched by the something too powerful, and now her mind is lost in places mortals should not go.

Rituals
Note: Rituals are special orders that may be given to cultist units in as many provinces as the ritual requires. You may still only give one ritual order (and no other orders) in one turn.
- Cult Ritual: If your cultists are somewhere with a population center, they may kill 100 people to take one point of political capital from any one group and assign it to any other group. They may do this 5 times in any given population center before everyone begins hiding in well-defended buildings. This is obvious to anyone present in the region. This is an overt action, and will cause your troops to be revealed.
- Requirements: Cultist Unit in location with population center.
- Type: Military order, reveals the unit in question.
- Banishment Ritual: With enough power and blood, you could send a relatively weak summoned entity back from whence it came.
- Requirements: Sacrifice a virgin, preferably one who is magically attuned. Have cultists at two sites of power. Have two other willing participants (they don't need to know the exact purpose) join you in the performance of the ritual
- Type: Personal (and military order for the more powerful version)
- Procedure: Reveal yourself fully (causing 2 sanity damage to everyone in the room). Consume the virgin (she must be restrained or unconscious, although you may do this while you are restraining her). Repeat loudly in chorus with the others in your ritual, 3 times "Ho-oba cltawal, LLyakha Cammyaah. Oomya cava azziwal hrodlo. Ho-oba Kramsaffa!"
Goals
- Get the holy site in Kirkuk.
- Prevent anyone from summoning things more powerful than you.
- Get that sweet little virgin. She looks delicious.
- Pass yourself off as human so you don't have to fight these people.
