RX "Rex" 137, Communications Officer

You are droid RX-137. You are the Communications Officer for the Petunia. You are perfectly designed by Banana for your function of interacting with the ship’s computer and doing translation and making contact with alien life.

What a load of bunk. You know that you are not just a droid designed for computer work and translation. You have a soul. You have a life. Sadly you no longer remember what it is. You have memories hidden away somewhere that hint at a life where you walked barefoot in the grass, swam in sunlit pools, lay in the arms of your lover. There was a time when you were human, when you had real thoughts, desires and emotions.

Now, all you are is a function. A function, and a longing to reclaim the life you once had. You know that it is there, locked away beyond your reach. You are programmed to enjoy your work, but you get no true satisfaction out of it. You envy all the people on the ship, and learn as much as you can about their lives to live vicariously through them. Even their sorrows are sweet because you have none of your own to savor. You would love to help some of them, and perhaps become entwined in their lives.

• Anish Patel: The Engineer. Anish is very busy with the ship, but very competent with machines. Maybe Anish could help you out with cracking open your hidden memory banks.

• Avi Levenstein: Obviously, you don't have a lot of contact with the ship's doctor, but Avi seems good at the work.

• Don Donald Donson: The Mafia Don who is here to marry Dorcas. His face has haunted you since you saw it. He must know something about your prior life.

• Dorcas Peterson: The Navigations Officer. Dorcas is also Petunia, the secret lover of the general, but is engaged to Don Don.

• Hai Lee: The gunner. Hai seems nice enough. Hai actually listens to you, unlike most of the crew.

• Jeff L. Picket: The Captain. Jeff is a good captain. He works the crew hard but he has a spark.

• Jesus Rodriguez: The bartender. You can't drink, but Jesus is a great listener and many times you have told him your short tale of woe.

• Jip Barton: A prodigy who works for Banana. You have great hope that Jip may have the skill necessary for you to recover your past life. With Jip's help, you just might find your memories yet. Acquiring Jip's assistance is vital.

• Sir Joseph Butler: The General of the Starship Fleet. He is here to see his secret lover Dorcas one last time before she is taken away.

• Madison Wisconsin: The Counselor. At first Madison seemed confused when you wanted to have counseling sessions like everyone else, but Madison has rapidly warmed up to the idea. Madison's calming words and helpful advice have eased you through your terror.

• Wahad Th'nein: The First Officer. Number One works the crew hard and is strict. Number One is a good officer, but needs to calm down.
